Colorado Southern Trophy Hunts
ABOUT THE HUNT
This Exclusive Hunt takes place in Southern Colorado – near the New Mexico border. It’s conducted on nearly 200,000 acres of private ranches that are strictly managed for Trophy Class Animals. This area is well known for producing MONSTER BUCKS & BULLS, and with Trophy Chaser’s land-management practices, it will continue to improve every season!
The ranch has hosted many television shows here in the past with some of the biggest names in the hunting industry. There are multiple ranch homes and lodges on the property to make sure all of our hunters have comfortable accommodations during their stay.
Our guides are among the best in the business and share an extreme passion for pursuing Trophy Animals. The elk are in the full rut with hardcore bugling during the September archery season and muzzleloader seasons. They are STILL bugling during the October rifle season which helps us to locate the bigger herd bulls. 300″-340″ class bulls are commonly harvested by our clients and 350″+ class bulls are taken every season. The biggest bulls ever taken on the ranches exceeded 400″ B&C in size… You may have a chance at a 400″ bull at anytime during your hunt!
Archery tags may be purchased over the counter with no preference points. Rifle and Muzzleloader tags are also easily drawn without any preference points.
On our mule deer hunts we take only a very limited number of bucks and will only harvest mature deer scoring over 170″ B&C points. You may have the opportunity to pass on many 160″-170″ class deer in search of 175″-200″+ Trophies. This hunt is not for the average deer hunter, but rather a hunter looking for and committed to only harvesting a truly big Mule Deer Buck.
All deer tags are available through a draw or purchasing a landowner voucher from us. Archery non-resident tags require 12-14 preference points to draw. Muzzleloader requires 18-22 points. Rifle tags will require 7-9 points for October hunts and 9-12 points in the November seasons. We encourage all hunters to apply for the draw and those not successful will need to commit to purchasing a landowner voucher priced between $4500-$8500 each.
